COURSE DESCRIPTION
Preparation for High School begins with three fundamental subjects:
Science

Explore and understand scientific concepts

Develop knowledge and understanding of science

Improve understanding of scientific jargon (terminology)

Conduct exciting science experiments in order to help nurture their interest in science
English & Writing

Respond to and compose texts

Study a range of different texts types

Engage in learning experiences that reflect a sequential and logical approach

Explore and understand mathematical concepts

Yes. Homework is an important aspect of learning as it consolidates the strategies taught by the teacher and allows students to put into practice what they've learned.

Term 2, 2024 (12 week term):
Start date: Saturday, 27 April 2024
End date: Saturday, 6 July 2024
Lesson time: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Fees (full-term tuition fee paid in advance)
Tuition fee: $70 per week
Material fee: $85 per term
Total for Term 2: $855
Earlybird discount: $785 (for full-term payments received on or before 13 April 2024)
MATERIALS
Students will receive a Maths book, English book and Thinking Skills book, these will be used for class work as well as homework.
Materials for this course will be given to
students on the first day of class.

Material fee: $85 per term
Total for Term 2: $800
